There are accompanying emotions underlying our thoughts. What do we think about during our waking hours in a day? The Scriptures exhort us to set our minds on spiritual things. When we read in the Scriptures about how God answered prayers of His people in spite of their spiritual condition, we should also be aware and ponder over God and His love behind every answered prayers. Meditating on the cross also helps us to think about His Love. God reveals His love to us in an out-of-this-world manner when we receive the revelation of a God Who loves us as a Father. May the Holy Spirit continue to stir us to set our minds on things above, in our journey here on this earth.
