You are my Hiding Place

It is important for us to learn that as God’s children, we are not to be lazy. On the other hand, does it mean that we have to be busy? When we view our “work” as a “sacrament” or our sacred act of love and worship unto God, being busy does not become a problem. However, we must realise that the strategy of the adversary is to cause “weariness”, i.e. to wear us out. How do we escape the “wearing out” strategy of the enemy? It is when we enter into the reality of God as our hiding place. This can be seen from the account of Moses pitching a tent to seek God in the days before the tabernacle was erected in the wilderness. When God becomes our hiding place, we are shielded from the attacks of the enemy and we can even become oblivion to them when we are so captivated by God. The more we cultivate the act of pitching a tent of meeting with God in our lives, the more we are attracting heaven to our lives as we go from grace to grace and glory to glory.
